This short film was made by an elementary school student, Tom Hutchins, 8-years-old. He shows us how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, including screen text with steps to follow and a visit to the store when he realizes they need jelly and bread. He even shows us moldy bread, with a warning never to eat bad bread. It's simple and mostly to the point. Well directed for such a young boy. This has definite kid appeal, particularly watching Tom shop for himself and inserting a bit of his personality into the sandwich making process. Good percussion background music that drives the motion forward.
Tom Hutchens redefines the manufacture of every school kid's fondest food stuff! Peanut Butter And Jelly 101 is the Video Fairfax first place award winner that took home a lovely prize for Dranesville Elementary School, in Fairfax Virginia, for kindergarden through third grade.
