This is an enchanting short from Costa Rica with an interesting story, interestingly delivered. The acting, the images, the camera work are all very well done. It has a very classical look to it. I love the conversations with the shadows who appear as people in their own right. My favorite line, "Three days, no power. I could not talk with anybody." Ah, such is the life of a shadow puppeteer. This is great filmmaking!
Boris, a very particular shadow puppeteer doesn't have the courage to reach out for Clara, the woman he loves. But, Boris is not the only one in love; his Shadow too is in love... with Clara's shadow. When the Shadow finds out the girl will travel far away, it rebels from Boris. But, its pseudo independence will not be used to chase the girl's shadow - whom it loves - but to make Boris confront his deep fears, using a shady method. In Spanish with English subtitles. From Costa Rica
