Well directed and acted. Luca isn't sure what his grandfather is up to, but the boys around town have their stories. When he decides to secretly hitch a ride with his grandfather one day, both of them are in for a big surprise - one that is uplifting and life-affirming. This film makes you feel good with its lovely message about not giving up and believing in the simple beauty of life. If you loved the film Cinema Paradiso, you'll love this short. The young boys are so believable and darling.
Tired of life, Ettore, 65-years-old, tries every day to find the courage to drive himself and his old three-wheeler down a country ditch. When ten-year-old Luca finds out about his grandfather's intentions, he decides to furtively follow him. Italian dialogue with English sub-titles.
