An interesting tale about how Placidus came about from a fully-grown Beaver (Benny) and a full-grown Duck (Lucille.) It's imaginative, though the time reference of the story (when Earth was young) is a bit confusing given the modern-day language the animals used. It is a nice lesson about how being different is a positive thing.
The worlds first Platypus grows up an only child of a Beaver Father and a Duck Mother.
