Lovely. This student film is infused with love, from start to finish. Not in a gushy, unbelievable way but in a very real life kind of way. It just makes you smile as the character Liam develops and finds himself in the end. Highly recommended for ages 8 to 15 as well as adults. I give this 4 out of 5 stars. Liam Timmons, an idiosyncratic lollipop man, lives a rigid lifestyle. When he befriends Monica, a free-spirit substitute teacher, his life is turned upside down. The Lollipop Man is a story about loneliness, friendship and coping with the death of a loved one.
