Joe Giangrasso

Joseph Giangrasso is President and Creator of Phonics 4 Babies/ High 5 Productions. Winner of NAPPA Gold Award, KIDS FIRST! “Best of Fest 2007 Award”, Parent to Parent “Adding Wisdom Award” and others.

Joseph has specialized in creating and producing children’s educational programming. As founder and creator of “Safety 4 Kids” / “SeeMore’s Playhouse” which aired nationally on The Family Net. (Producer, Director, Editor) he was the driving force behind the staggering 2.5 million sales of the Safety 4 Kids video series.

Joseph along with Steve Petruzzella has created a new cast of wacky characters called “The Noodleheads” whose segments can be seen on “Kid Fitness” Currently Airing on PBS stations nationwide. (Producer, Director, Editor)

Education Director and Promotional Director for “Little Kids Rock”, The nation’s largest provider of FREE musical instruments and curriculum to underprivileged schools. Celebrity supporters include: Bonnie Raitt, Ziggy Marley, B.B. King, Caralos Santana, Dee Snider, and more.

Educational / Media Director for NYFAC (New York Families For Autistic Children) Producing educational DVDs that are geared towards PARENTS and PROFESSIONALS. PSA campaigns and companion DVDs for an assortment of education books.

Joseph has recently partnered with FUNBAG ANIMATION STUDIOS. Funbag quickly made a name for itself by doing service work for great new innovative shows such as "Beavis and Butthead" for MTV, "Tales from the Crypt Keeper" for Nelvana, "The Critic," and segments of"The Simpsons" for Film Roman. Funbag produces their own high quality distinctive shows, bringing such titles to air as "For Better or Worse" (16 episodes, Teletoon) and
"Toad Patrol" (26 episodes, Teletoon). Decode Entertainment partnered with Funbag in 2001 to produce Gord Coulthart's "King," a 52 episode series for Family Channel. Funbag partnered with Moody Street Kids of
Australia in 2005 to produce "The Eggs," (26 x 11 minutes) and "Faireez," (52 x 11 minutes) for Channel 10 Australia.
