Good story that addresses bullying. Andrew's down on luck family crisis puts him in a place where he's subjected to the local school bully. The resolution is very believeable and drives home a positive message about fathers and sons. Contains some marginal language that some might object to.
A family of three, Andrew, his father and mother are down on their luck. Andrew is thrusted into a new school where his classmates ridicule him for dressing like a pirate and his father, is the janitor. Wrongfully charged with destroying school property, Andrew looks to his imaginary friend and hero Captain Black Beard to help him out of the trouble but instead finds his father there to save the day. In doing so, Andrew now sees his father as he once did; his hero.
