Well done, beautiful images, bright colors. I love the crab! This non-narrative short would make a great addition to an environmental film festival, a science museum or a children's museum. It's a great discussion starter about the environment and waste.
Silver Award, KIDS FIRST! Best 2009. An animated film about the dangers posed to animals by plastic waste in our oceans. Our hero, a neurotic red crab, finds his paradise under assault by the intrusion of a water bottle. He undertakes a fantastic journey through the beautiful realm of a coral reef meeting and helping other sea life along the way. The crab was designed by a four-year-old girl and the film has a charming children's book quality. It is animated in Adobe Flash.
