SO YOU WANT TO BE PRESIDENT cover image
This covers a wide range of traits, habits and backgrounds of American presidents. It makes historical figures come to life, using animation and humor. It conveys the message that is okay to be different. In fact, all the presidents were unique and many; had things in common with their predecessors. For example, some of them played musical instruments, sports, danced, went to college (nine didn't) and had pets. Thomas Jefferson wore many hats. John Quincy Adams was a swimmer. Teddy Roosevelt had a zoo. They were different sizes and shapes; Taft was the heaviest and had a custom built bath tub. But, each showed courage, spirit and the will to make leading the people and country his first priority. It may even inspire YOU to become president some day. The pastel and watercolor illustrations with black lines are beautiful. Some scenes have textured paper background which was very appealing.
