This elementary school student is trying to tell us to not just be consumers of media, but to be active in the creation of media. The kids are cute and it is well thought out in its message. Quite an ambitious project for an eight-year-old.
In this experimental short made by an elementary school child, the eight-year-old narrator makes the pitch for why home movies should be bigger, louder and more meaningful. Through digital video and the art of storytelling, children can learn that there's more to creativity than just pointing a camera at some humorous moment, hoping for the next viral hit.
