Everyone needs family, for support, love or help. The movie Delivery Man all emphasizes these factors. The plot follows David (Vince Vaughn) who delivers meat to businesses. His struggle is having a stable family for himself. His girlfriend is pregnant but does not want to let him be the father. David then finds out that there are 533 children who are his biological children due to his past donations to a donor bank. He decides to visit each of the children to see where they are now. But these children are not kids. They are all in their late teens. He decides to make a meeting date where all 533 children can come visit each other. He creates the name Starbuck as the name of the mystery father. These children then demand to know who their father is but the law of the court denies the release of the father's name. The ending is bitter sweet, thus you have to watch this movie.

The moral of the story is to keep people close to you because they might help you. During the movie there are many scenes devoted to showing what condition each child is presently enduring. From a musician to a beauty stylist all the children have different careers which affect David's emotional connection to each one. One child keeps David continuously visiting - the child with special needs. The child is in a care center and no one visits until David comes along. During the movie, David and the special need's child create a family sense of warmth. This part of the movie stuck with me and really pulled my heart strings.

Overall the movie emphasizes the importance of family. Furthermore, it gives the audience a message about caring for other people who you might not know. The comedy is apparent in this movie and the jokes are geared more for adults. I rate this age range for ages 13 to 18 due to the storyline and the adult jokes. I give this movie 4 star out of 5 because of the strong themes but awkward adult humor.

The Delivery Man will have you tearing up because of how much you'll be laughing. Starring Vince Vaughn as David Wozniak, a man who works at a meat shop and has life ambition who gets an unpleasant surprise when a lawyer appears in his house telling him he has 533 children and that 142 of them want to meet him. David Wozniak now has to deal with his conscience whether he wants to meet all his kids or if he wants to forget about them and move on with his pregnant girlfriend.

What I love about this movie is the amazing job Vince Vaughn does at portraying the character of David Wozniak. Vince Vaughn has done many comedic movies but I really enjoyed this one because of how his very dry humor. There are many characteristics that make this a great movie. I really like the plot and the concept as this subject is something that we are seeing today with the wonderful use of the internet. Many families that have either broken up by adoption or have been separated have found themselves reconnecting on the internet. What I don't like about the movie is how David doesn't really know how to react to having a child with disabilities.

My favorite character is Viggo, one of the many kids who discovers that David is his father. I really like Viggo because he is so awkward and weird but wants to get close to his father. I also like his character because he is very determined to meet his father and does everything he can to be with David. It's a very sweet relationship.

My favorite scene is when the lawyer is sitting in David's house and tells him that he has 533 kids and David freaks out and starts saying that his name is not David in Spanish. It is a very funny scene and makes me laugh.

I give this movie 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 13-17 because of the mature content. Reviewed by Jailene A, age 13, KIDS FIRST Film Critic.
