Oh my! John Dilworth has done it again! This is hysterical. But, it is not for very young children. I definitely recommend this for teens and perhaps tweens due to the violent nature of the storyline. The characters are brilliant and brilliantly colored. The bird "mooning" the cat is perhaps not something parents want their kids to emulate but hey, it's all in the spirit of fun and silliness. The cat's revenge against the bird is certainly over the top and reminiscent of Sylvester and Tweety. I recommend it for inclusion but strongly suggest that it be recommended for ages 12 to 18 due to the cartoon violence. The animation is truly wonderful and inspiring.
