This is a thoughtfully produced short with good messages for youth as well as adults. The story examines the life of a young boy who lives in a rural environment. The boy seems lonely and doesn't appear to have any friends or social life. His father expresses a lot of prejudice and disgust at foreigners and gypsies and won't let him go to the town square to socialize. One fine day, he ventures out into the snow covered woods and meets another kid who has a sled. They become friends, against all odds and life changes.
A sled brings together two boys from different countries and cultures and carries them through the winter woods of the Italian mountains, far away from their parents' prejudices and isolation. Two children, one sled and a lasting friendship. Dialogue is in Italian and sub-titled in English.
