Tashi Non-Stop is a sweet and silly YouTube comedy series for kids 3 to 7. This comedic web series is about problem solving in silly situations or sometimes, there really isn't a plot and it's just a silly situation. Sometimes Tashi plays a character like the Queen of England and sometimes inanimate objects speak to her.. It stars the very likable Tashi (Natasha Hanina). Each very short (around one minute) episode is fun, however some of them have an educational message, so young children will want to keep watching one after the other without even realizing that they are learning. I recommend this to parents of little kids because it's fun and educational. The single word that describes my reaction to this show is engaging. Each episode is very silly or cute and Tashi is very likable. What's great about that is that some of the episodes are just fun, whereas some of them have an educational message. Young children will want to keep watching one after the other without even realizing that they are learning. For example, "Putting on Mommy's Makeup" shows Tashi putting it on in the closet and coming out looking like a very messy clown and it is just funny. On the other hand "The Garbage Can", in which the can's feelings are hurt because Tashi forgot to change the bag, has a message about cleanliness. Although the situations are entertaining, some of them seemingly unintentionally don't make a lot of sense, even for a toddler. These videos are YouTube videos that are apparently made on a laptop or desktop. The lack of production values doesn't really detract from the entertainment value of the series though. Also, in "Tashi Calls Her Grandma and Tells Her that She Loves Her" she has some very cute sound effects when she dials her grandma. Since this series is for younger children, I have to imagine the educational value of the series. I think "Tashi Calls Her Grandma and Tells Her that She Loves Her" teaches the value of expressing love to one of your family members and the value of taking your time in doing so! One thing that stands out is that Tashi speaks with a British accent and all the other characters have American accents. That is a neat twist because it seems to provide emphasis and sort of makes her dialogue more important. I give it 3 out of 5 stars and recommend it to ages 3 to 7. Reviewed by Lucia F., KIDS FIRST! Although this web series could use better production values including steady camera work, louder and clearer audio and better sound mixing, I still enjoyed it. The woman shows genuine care and understanding of children and how they learn life lessons. She has a great way of making these lessons fun and easy to understand. I believe Tashi (Natasha) is going places and has great potential. I'm looking forward to seeing her progress in the future. I recommend this for ages 3 to 10 and give it 4 out of 5 stars for being a fun and educational series. Reviewed by Rachael Vickers, KIDS FIRST! Juror.
