Rejection is a very relatable situation for teens. Kids will relate to this because it gives a view that is realistic. It takes off a bit slowly but, in general it flows well. The camera is a bit shaky at times and the sound mix is inconsistent, but you can tell that a lot of love and work went into creating this short film. The topic is excellent and well presented. The story is about two high school friends applying to the same school and, when things don't work out, you see the disappointment and the hardship associated with competing with your best friend. Things work out in the end and it's very cute and bittersweet. I like seeing work that reminds you that problems occur, but they don't always stay. I believe children can benefit from the way this topic is handled. Good sets, good acting, relatable topic. I recommend it for ages 10 to 18 and give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.
