This non-narrative short film says so much in the expressions and actions of the children. When the protagonist, a young boy, outswims the antagonist, we see the terrible bullying behavior of him and his friends as they antagonize the kid. From tossing his dry clothes into the shower to locking him in a locker and tripping him in the locker room they mistreat him at every opportunity. This is how bullies behave and we see it in its stark and despicable reality. Things escalate until the coach finally catches them red-handed and marches them off. A handshake changes things and we see that friendship is possible, if we only give it a chance. Well written, shot, directed and acted. Stay for the outtakes during the credits. They'll bring a smile to your face. Recommended for KIDS FIRST! Film Festival for ages 8 to 18 and rank it 4 out of 5 stars. Reviewed by Julie S., KIDS FIRST! Adult Juror.
