This short animated, non narrative film has a wonderful message, but most importantly is a delight to watch. The filmmaker portrays a genuine love for his characters whose styles differ greatly until they reach a compromise. It's fun to watch them execute their painting squabble and see all the colors explode all over the place. I believe younger kids would love it and get the message as well. I recommend it for ages 4-8, as well as adults and give it 4 out of 5 stars. Reviewed by Julie S., KIDS FIRST! Juror.

Balance is a 2D animated short film about a boy and a girl fighting for painting space, both refusing to give in until the mess they create goes out of control. They then realise the only way out is to work together and strive for coexistence.
