One thing I love about student productions, particularly from middle school students, is their authenticity. The Lora Batchelor Middle School have been part of the KIDS FIRST! Film Festival for many years and we always look forward to seeing their latest work. This silent film is right up there! It's sweet story is well told, well shot with lots of varying camera angels. The background music is perfect and the acting is well executed. This would make a wonderful addition to any kid and family friendly festival, as part of a shorts program or prelude to a feature. Recommended for ages 9 to 14, I give this 4 out of 5 stars. Reviewed by Julie S., KIDS FIRST! Adult Juror.
