This animated cat and bird story will steal your heart, even as the cat tries to steal its way to capture the bird. His actions as he sneaks around the outside of buildings are amusing and clever. He scrapes by the laundry drying outside, uses a brassiere to parachute between buildings, jumps from rail to rail, narrowly escapes an unfriendly dog until... finally... he gets to the bird! As he reaches toward the bird, the canary strikes back. You have to watch it to find out what happens. 4 out of 5 stars, recommended for ages 8 to 18. Reviewed by Julie S.

Minoule is a roguish cat spending the whole day on the edge of his windowsill, Under roofs. Far off, the song od a small canary in his cage works him up an appetite. But the way to catch the prey is full of pitfalls.
