A cut short animation about a mouse that lives among the books of a home library and whose life is challenged by the existence of a cat in the same house. The "book mouse" is undeterred when his candle goes out and he heads out in search of a match so he can continue reading. The characters are all 2D and charming in their own ways. They are not as textured or complex as today's standard animation, but the clever storyline holds your attention and is worthy of consideration. I love seeing the mouse reading by candlelight. Somehow it gives me hope for the world. Recommended for ages 8 to 18. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Reviewed by William N., KIDS FIRST! Juror.
A small mouse lives in the middle of books and their epic adventures. When the candle goes out and when the matchbox is empty, it's her turn to live a dangerous adventure throughout the house, in search of a small spark.
