What a delightful short film about shelter animals. Pets 4D! is a short film about a group of shelter animals that come together to rescue stolen puppies. I absolutely love all the animals and giving them voices. What's amazing is how they build the entire storyline around these actual animals. When thieves come into the shelter and take off with some puppies, all the other animals team up to go find them and bring them back. The storyline really showcases all the different animals and their various quirks. I love the beginning, when the animals dream of what they would love to have happen. The storyline has lots of narrative and physical humor. This is a well-done production from the camera work, to the background music, to the special effects, everything is top rate. Of course the animals are cute and cuddly. The shelter looks very warm and loving. The only thing that doesn't quite make sense is how close the barn is to where shelter is. The music is fun with good tempo. All the animal sounds are great. I don't think this is meant to be a believable story. It's just cute and funny. I love that every animal in this movie was a rescue animal! The only think I don't care for is the narrator at the beginning. His voice reminds me of a bad science film narrator and it's a turn off. The message of this film is "stick together with your friends and consider adopting a shelter animal. There is some slight profanity, where "butt" could have been used instead. Most importantly, watching this made me want to adopt a shelter animal. I give this 4.5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 3 to 12, plus adults. It is funny, cute and easy to watch. I think our KIDS FIRST! Film Festival venues would love to include this. Reviewed by Selene W. and Julie S., KIDS FIRST! Jurors.

In "PETS 4D!", three cute and cuddly puppies, ready for adoption, are stolen from the pet shelter. It's up to two cats, two dogs, a pig, a parrot and a rat to save the day. The Rescue Heroes use their unique animal skills to track down and confront the bad guys. Along the way they meet a hungry porcupine, a spitting llama and a barn full of captured critters. It's a fun, fast, funny adventure for the entire family. (Shot entirely with Rescue Animals!) Movie Short in 3D!
