This is a silly comedic film that I find very amusing! Lovro Hostic does a fantastic job at portraying the cheekiness of an odd little boy. The fact that this film is so short also adds a bonus, as the plot doesn't drag on. The music is able to follow the storyline well, with its happy, upbeat tunes.

You are not everybody else! This student-produced short film is from Croatia and it truly made me laugh. George is definitely cut from a different cloth. I also like that it has a good moral that teaches you to be yourself, to not try to fit in. My only complaint is that it's so short! I would have liked it longer. That and there is no dialogue, but you can understand it nevertheless. I like the message that it sends to the audience.

The film is about a kid name George who likes to be different than the others. He enjoys being original and dresses uniquely, but society doesn't approve of it.

The cinematography is well done, nothing spectacular but entirely watchable. The bathroom scene is a bit blurry and when it zooms out, is even more blurry. Definitely, George's costume suits him, as do the other cast members' costumes. The film takes place at school most of the time, but also outside, and at George's house. It is non-narrative so the music and sound effects are important in relaying they story.

The key influencer is George. He stands out because he delivers the message of the film, which it is to be original and to be yourself.

It would be fun to see this at a film festival. Kids need to see a film like this in order to feel better about themselves and remind them that they don't always have to follow what society thinks is the "norm."

The message is to be yourself, no matter how others see you. Let your inner light shine. My favorite part is when George gets his unique outfit back.

I give this 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 5 to 18, plus adults. I recommend this, because I agree that we need to learn at a young age to be ourselves and accept ourselves the way we are. We need to express who we are and not bottle it inside. George is a boy who is different from the others. While he enjoys expressing his individuality, he finds himself being forced to conform. His usual colorfulness is replaced with shades of black. Will he break free from the norm or will he remain an average citizen? What does it mean, anyway, to be different, and how is it expressed and experienced? Each individual has their own way of expression, and in this short film George will show you his. It's a film about diversity and an (un)willingness to conform, (in)tolerance and willingness to express one's identity and respect for others.

The film was created as part of the advanced workshop of the Frooom! film school in 2018. in Zagreb. The mentors Anja Pletikosa and Dalija Dozet initiated the students' creative thinking about diversity. It took five days from the idea to the realization of the film, which means that in this short time the team of children, in the presence of mentors, devised a story, scripted it, created a storyboard, and made all the components of pre-production, from the selection of locations, the division of roles and training of dialogue and acting. Filming and recording sound, with the supervision of mentors, was also made by the students themselves.
