What a breath of fresh air PeaceTime: A Royal Frog is; a simple, meditative short film that guides the viewer through a simple meditation. Lovely.

This short animated film offers a meditation exercise for young people and old.

The animation is simple, very simple, and it is charming as well. This four minute film offers a short guided meditation that anyone who is new to meditation would benefit from as well as those that are experienced meditators. The narrator's voice is calm and articulate. The colors are simple, starting with a pinkish child sitting in a cross-legged position. As we go into the meditation, the character imagines itself as a frog, a green frog that guides while sitting on a lily pad and traveling along on a turquoise river. During the meditation we see fish, monkeys and people in or by the river. We imagine ourselves feeling the warm sunshine and raindrops. We imagine the smells alongside the river - the flowers, the grass...We focus on our breathing and return to childish self.

The film delivers a brief four minute guided meditation in a calm and sweet way.

I give PeaceTime: A Royal Frog 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 3 to 15, plus adults. This would make a lovely interstitial at any KIDS FIRST! Film Festival. By Julie S., KIDS FIRST!
