ADVENTURES OF SHERIFF WINSKEY, THE cover image
The Adventures of Sheriff Winskey is a very lighthearted student production by two middle schoolers. It displays elements of good and bad behaviors. The lighthearted part is filled with stuffed animals, which makes it fun to watch.

The story follows Sheriff Winskey catching Dr Demon who decides to turn everyone into stuffed animals. Sheriff Winskey needs to catch Dr Demon before it's too late.

The story is clearly outlined as Dr Demon turns everyone into stuffed animals; Sheriff Winskey recruits everyone and tries to fight Dr Demon and they win by catching him. The camerawork is pretty impressive for young moviemakers. The use of stuffed animals as characters, and manipulating them by using grab sticks is clever. Sheriff Winskey grows considerably throughout the movie. He realizes the importance of teamwork and grabs onto that idea, which leads him to beat Dr Demon. Dr Demon, on the other hand, is a static character. My favorite part is when Sheriff Winskey's team captures Dr Demon and puts him away for good.

The film's message emphasizes the importance of teamwork.

I give The Adventures of Sheriff Winskey 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 5 to 18. Reviewed by Tom W., KIDS FIRST!

Everyone in the town is turned into stuffed animals. It is up to Sheriff Winskey to catch Dr. Demon and turn everyone back into humans. This movie was made by brothers Kalan and Karter Peters, 6th and 4th grade.
