What to know: Absolutely delightful and fun - what with its singing lion couple and the "people" they visit - bird, frog, penguins - searching for the source of the singer.

If this doesn't cheer up your day, nothing will. I admit that I watched Who is it: Who is singing? after a long day of watching films, many of which were pretty tedious and this just perked me right up and made me giggle.

The storyline follows a lion couple who are playing musical instruments together - a wind instrument for him and an accordion for her. Unexpectedly, someone begins to sing along with them. The lion couple are very excited, and embark on a journey with their musical instruments to find the beautiful voice.

I am completely enchanted by the characters and how they are drawn. They are all so darn cute. The bird, the lion couple, frog, the penguins... -- adorable. Plus, the lions play instruments and talk to animals. The colors of this animated short are bright and cheery - yellows and reds and blues. The two main characters are a lion couple - man and wife. They play their music and travel around enchanting other animals along their way who sing and dance with them My favorite part is when they are with the penguins in the snow.

The message of this film is about observing the world around us and sharing our gift, whether music or something else, with others.

I give Who is it: Who is singing? 4 out of stars and recommend it for ages 2 to 5, plus adults. By Julie S., KIDS FIRST!
