Adorable! Times 12! If this short animated - felt-animated - film doesn't bring a smile to your face, then I don't know what would.

The story follows a family of 5 little frogs who keep changing position. Can you keep track of them? I couldn't but I just loved watching them and listening to the cute music by Kelli Caldwell.

Kelli's music drives the action in this short film. This tune has a country charm to it that draws you in from the get go - or at least it did me. Then, the frogs themselves are made of needle felted material and couldn't be cuter. I particularly love the motion of the frogs' eyes, which makes them anthropomorphic. The sets are also made of needle felted material - which is just crazy cute!

The film's message, if there is to be one, is about finding your place - finding your place among your family and your environment.

I give Five Little Frogs 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 2 to 8, plus adults. This would fit into any KIDS FIRST! Film Festival for little ones. By Julie S., KIDS FIRST!
