The story follows a shy young boy who has the ability to draw monsters that actually come to life. But, when they threaten the kids in his neighborhood, he has a problem and has to figure out how to stop them. In the process, the neighborhood kids befriend him.
I love the 2D animation of this short film, made by a college student. It's bright and lively; the characters are distinct and unique. The monsters steak the day - each one more outrageous than the last! The action of the film is well defined and well-paced. This is a perfect short to play at KIDS FIRST! Film Festivals.
The film's message is about finding friendship in the most unusual ways.
I give Creaturas 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 5 to 12. By Julie S., KIDS FIRST!
