One summer afternoon, a young student approaches his teacher for advice about professing his crush on a fellow student.
This simple short film takes a simple concept as it runs its course over the day and engages a half a dozen people in so doing. Well produced with good camera work, audio recording, editing, and a suitable location, this is such a great example of an age appropriate short film for middle school audience. I was drawn in from the get go and enjoyed how the film plays out, bringing in a group of girls to help Alvin and Nick get their "notes" to the right person. Very sweet.
I give Alvin 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 8 to 12, plus adults. By Julie S., KIDS FIRST!
