I particularly like that Bryn, the young filmmaker, used claymation to create this film. It's not an easy format and it's executed quite well. The narrative is informative and doesn't talk down to the audience. It also emphasizes how coyotes have a place in our world and, at the same time, how to protect your family pet from being kidnapped by them. Nice ending credits.
I give Coyotes 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it of ages 8 to 12, plus adults. By Janet S., KIDS FIRST!

Written & Animated by 14-year-old Bryn Wright, Coyotes was inspired by the loss of a beloved family dog. Bryn hopes that by sharing these tips, more pets can be protected, allowing coyotes and people to coexist peacefully.
