16-year-old Zhiheng Xie delivers a sensitive message told by images and narrative about how music has affected his life and led his integration into US culture in a subtle way. It's beautifully told, narrated by Zhiheng Xie himself with unobtrusive background music playing throughout. Its only shortcoming is its abrupt ending and lack of end credits.

Every time I get asked the question, "Who's your hero?" I don't know how to respond. You know, everyone always talks about heroes like they're people. Someone strong, someone brave, someone like Superman who swoops in and saves the day. My hero isn't a person or a thing. It's something you can't touch, but you can feel. Something that comes in so many flavors it incites both love and hate. Is it okay to say my hero is music?
