This simple documentary offers a reflection by two young girls on the volcano eruption they experienced in 2021 when their grandparents' home was destroyed.
I found their discussion to be self reflecting, especially in the drawings that they make showing the volcano erupting. It must have been terrifying, yet somehow, they are able to revisit it without remorse. This is well produced with good camera work, audio recording and editing.
I give Marta, Aisha, and the Volcano 3.5 out of 5 stars and recommend this for ages 8 to 12. By Julie S., KIDS FIRST!
