Robbery at the Rockvale Theatre is an extremely engaging, comedic family whodunit with an amazing plot and emotion-enhancing music. Written, directed, and produced by Jesse Edwards, the film follows Seth (Brycen Patterson), Andi (Ayla Bullington), and their friend Monsieur (Daniel Durpe) as they race against a two-day deadline to find who stole their high school's theater production funds.

The story opens in media res before jumping back 12 hours, cleverly revealing how every key character becomes involved. The plot develops clearly, with expressive close-ups highlighting the comedic dynamic between the ambitious Seth, open-minded Andi, and quirky Monsieur. The suspenseful climax--where Seth and Monsieur walk through the evidence to unmask the thief--feels delightfully reminiscent of Clue (1985).

The film's message is that while chasing your dreams is important, you shouldn't lose sight of your true self along the way. Note: Scenes feature characters with a prop cigar and pipe.
