Beautifully done, lovely costumes and sets. Filled with facts and information. The story depends a lot on the background narration and is sometimes confusing. Somewhat didactic in presenting history and meaning of the opera. Good friendship models.

Reliana is transported back in time to a theatre in which Rossini is about to launch "The Barber of Seville." Invisible to everyone but Rossini, Reliana watches her grandmother and a friend fight over the composer and the opera's disastrous premiere.
